November Meeting
Our November meeting is Saturday, November 16th at 10 am at the Cooperative Extension offices on Martin Rd. in Voorheesville. Just in time for the season, our own HADS member Diane Steele will teach us how to make a lovely wreath from natural materials.

Diane will provide “collected” vines from around her house. We will be using willow, rose, birch, grapevine, honeysuckle, and bittersweet. Diane will teach us how to properly wrap the wreath that we construct. Based on size and shape, boxwood will be added. Diane will give us a printed sheet on materials that she has dried to use in wreath construction. She will also give us ideas on common materials such as dried flowers, pods, grasses and other materials that can be used to decorate the wreath. In addition, we can study some sample pieces that Diane will bring with her.
