{"id":6453,"date":"2021-06-21T20:26:05","date_gmt":"2021-06-21T20:26:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hudsonadirondackdaylilysociety.org\/?page_id=6453"},"modified":"2021-06-22T01:25:38","modified_gmt":"2021-06-22T01:25:38","slug":"2021-regional-meeting-bus-trip-saturday-july-17","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/hudsonadirondackdaylilysociety.org\/?page_id=6453","title":{"rendered":"2021 Regional Meeting Bus Trip &#8211; Saturday July 17"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Join us for great day out!!!\u00a0\u00a0Everyone is welcome!\u00a0\u00a0Bring friends!\u00a0\u00a0You don\u2019t have to be a HADS member to come.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Connecticut Daylily Society is hosting our Regional Meeting this year.&nbsp;&nbsp;The date is&nbsp;<strong>July 17<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong>, 2021.&nbsp;&nbsp;Because of COVID restrictions, the meeting is being held in a much-abbreviated format.&nbsp;&nbsp;We will be meeting at Kim Krodel\u2019s house at 1:00 pm (on her front lawn) in Avon, CT.&nbsp;&nbsp;New officers will be elected and awards presented.&nbsp;&nbsp;You can read all the information on the regional website:&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cdsregional.weebly.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/cdsregional.weebly.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is also a link on the regional website to buy daylilies supporting the meeting.&nbsp;&nbsp;Click on the Daylily Sale in the heading and download the Excel spreadsheet listing the available plants.&nbsp;&nbsp;The plants will be picked up at Cheryl Fox\u2019s garden (one of the gardens we are visiting) on the day of the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have a bus going to the meeting and visiting gardens on the way there and on the way back.&nbsp;&nbsp;The bus will leave the&nbsp;<strong>Sam\u2019s Club parking lot<\/strong>&nbsp;in Latham Farms at&nbsp;<strong>8:00 am<\/strong>.&nbsp;&nbsp;People are responsible for their own breakfast and beverages.&nbsp;&nbsp;Water will be provided by HADS.&nbsp;&nbsp;Lunch will be available from Panera (limited menu) unless you wish to bring your own lunch.&nbsp;&nbsp;(Coolers will be available.)&nbsp;&nbsp;We expect to return about 7 to 8 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HADS is charging $15 for the trip without lunch and $25 for the trip if lunch is included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please bring a FOLDING CHAIR \u2013 there will be no other seating available.\u00a0\u00a0Since all the chairs will be stowed in the bottom of the bus, it would be a good idea to put a tag or some form of ID on your chair.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, be sure to bring a MASK, the CT Daylily Society is asking that everyone wear masks at the meeting.  You may also want to bring HAT\/SUNSCREEN\/UMBRELLA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can reserve your spot for the trip at:&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.signupgenius.com\/go\/20F0848A8AC2CAB9-7172021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.signupgenius.com\/go\/20F0848A8AC2CAB9-7172021<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you indicate on your sign up that you want to order lunch, you will receive an e-mail between July 6<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;and the date of the trip which will take you to a website so you can enter your selections from the special Panera menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Checks should be sent to Debi Chowdhury at:&nbsp;&nbsp;4 Derby Ct., Loudonville, NY&nbsp;&nbsp;12211<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We need you to sign up by July 6<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;in order to get lunches ordered.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bus will be stopping on the Mass Pike on the way over and back for bathroom breaks.\u00a0\u00a0We will be visiting Don and Nancy Smith\u2019s garden, which is a selling garden; Cheryl Fox and Phil Danville\u2019s garden (lots of daylilies, and is the pickup site if you pre-order any daylilies on the regional site); Kim and Rob Krodel\u2019s garden where the meeting will be held; Chrissie and John D\u2019Esopo\u2019s garden (lots of conifers and annuals); and O\u2019Briens Nursery (daylilies, hostas and conifers \u2013 bring a checkbook or cash, they don\u2019t take credit cards).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Come join us!
